Dreaming Large

As Cheryl finishes her licensure requirements (Woohoo!!) and I graduate, we are constantly wondering what is next. Where will we be in 6 months? Will Cheryl have to remain at Epworth indefinitely and, if not, what will she be doing in 3-9 months from now? Where are we going to move--if we even move--in St. Louis or....the US. Will we be able to get a Newfoundland soon somehow? With no backup plan, everything was pretty much riding on getting funding for either OSU or Aberdeen--now that neither came through, we have nothing in the works....and everything in the works. It'd be easy to say that we've "got nothing" on for after May, but really, we have whatever we want. If we want to move to Minnesota (egh!) we could, or Columbus, or Topeka, or Bangor, or Huntsville. Basically, we can do whatever we want and go wherever we want. Epworth can be over; Covenant will be over in a few weeks. I think more than anything we don't know what to do with the extreme amount of freedom that we suddenly have. We aren't even limited by opportunites for employment/study/etc. There is really nothing stopping us from doing whatever we dream up. Put this way, I feel sorry for all those poor guys who have calls or got funding. :) We're scared, but we're trying to take advantage of the chance to dream large and innovate in our life together.
